Charitable organization focused on animal welfare
Look at all that we have been doing to create impact and awareness in our community. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We are passionate about animal welfare and pet retention and we work hard to keep the family pet with its human parents.
My name is Brooklyn, I am the founding paw for Women for Paws. Our passion for animal welfare, pet retention, and adoption started at home. I was rescued from underneath a car in 2002. The family that rescued me kept me in a chicken crate with a rope tied to my neck so that I couldn't escape. I was never interested in escaping as all I wanted was to live inside a home and to be properly cared for. I was rescued by my human mommy, Grace C. Lopez, the founder of Women for Paws. I have now passed, but I remain a big part of this organization's mission. Saving a pet's life so that it doesn't end up in a shelter because families cannot afford the unexpected expenses is what we are here for. Pets deserve to stay together with their human families.
Be a part of our mission by donating anything that you can so that we can offer financial support to pet owners that are struggling financially to pay for their pet's medical emergencies, treatments, vaccines, boarding, and food.
Our passion about saving a pet's life is only possible through the help of our supporters, donors, and paw friends. We can't do this without the support of our community so please consider making a donation.
With gratitude,

Story about creating Women for Paws
Helping families in need is key for keeping pets out of the shelter.
Meet Chloe my rescue dog. She was only 2 years old when she almost ended up in a shelter. She had never been vaccinated, groomed, neutered, or properly cared for. In our efforts to find her a home, I decided to keep her because of her incredible personality and also because she was badly knotted and had to be shaved to the bone and we knew that no one would take her looking so sickly. Chloe's story today is a bit different as she has won the hearts of our family and she rules our household.
